Structural and Geotechnical Projects
I was involved with the following projects as a Design Consultant while being employed at Acumen Consulting House Ltd from 2015-2018.
12 Storied Plus Three Basement Prime Tower Building
My primary responsibility involved designing the foundation and structural components of the proposed building, which had an average floor area of 10,000 sq.ft. The foundation was designed as a RAFT structure in accordance with the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), with an average thickness of 1000 mm. The structural model was created using ETABs software, and earthquake & wind load provisions were incorporated in compliance with BNBC standards. The building frame was considered a Special Moment Resisting Frame with Share Wall.
Dhaka to Maowa N-8 Project
The project aimed to design a 55 km expressway including Bridges, Flyovers, Interchange, Railway over-bridge underpasses, and box-culverts. It was one of the mega projects of the Bangladesh Government. We worked with a Chinese consultant team jointly. I was assigned to design prestressed I-girders for flyovers, Pile foundation design for bridges, and the structural design of Box-culvert & Underpass. All designs were followed by AASHTO and BNBC codes.
JAYDAVPUR FOOT OVER BRIDGE, MYMENSHINGH
I worked on the project as a foundation engineer. It was a pile foundation for the proposed project. The design was followed by Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC).
KURIL FLYOVER PROJECT
I was the part of Geometric design team for the whole project including flyovers, U-turns, and approach roads. The design was followed by AASHTO Code.
